Information we collect

We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

• Information we receive from you on applications or other forms;
• Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others; and
• Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.

Information we share with others

We may make disclosures to nonaffiliated third parties as permitted by law. This may result in the disclosure of customer information in certain situations including:

• To effect, enforce, or administer a transaction that you request or authorize;
• To protect the security and integrity of your records;
• To prevent actual or potential fraud, unauthorized transactions or other liability;
• To the extent specifically permitted or required under the Right to Financial Privacy Act;
• To comply with federal, state or local laws, rules and other applicable legal requirements; 
• To a consumer reporting agency in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to any other non-affiliated third parties.   We do share nonpublic personal information with affiliated third parties as permitted.

Joint marketing agreements

We may disclose the following information to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements:     

• Information we receive from you on applications or other forms, such as your name, address, social security number, assets and income.
• Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others, such as your account balance, payment history, and parties to the transactions; and
• Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency, such as your creditworthiness and credit history.

If we disclose information to a third party in this manner, we will enter into a contractual agreement with the third party that prohibits the third party from disclosing or using the information other than to assist in marketing our services.

 Protecting your information

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic information.

 When your loan is sold, you may contact the servicer of record at anytime to opt out of disclosure by the servicer.  You will receive an annual notification from the servicer of your right to opt out of disclosure.
